Our Board of Directors reviewed our values in 2020 and show principles which underpin everything we aspire to do. They lead our vision and guide our strategy. These are:
- Of Service
- With Integrity
The Moray Firth Credit Union Board of Directors is an elected group of members who are responsible for the long-term strategic direction, development and success of Moray Firth Credit Union.
The Board reports to the membership at the Annual General Meeting. The Board, together with the senior management team, meets on a monthly basis to monitor Moray Firth Credit Union’s progress and operational success. It also helps to shape the future and ongoing strategies required for the continued success of Moray Firth Credit Union.
We are a membership organisation and members must LIVE or currently work in the geographical area outlined below.
After humble beginnings in a small room in Forres House Community Centre, then 10 years in 138 High Street Forres we relocated to larger premises at 53 High Street Forres in August 2017.
We relaunched as Moray Firth Credit Union Ltd and the boundary was extended to accept membership from people who live or work within that area after enquiries over a period of years.
As we entered 2021 we are in the process of establishing ‘satellite’ collection points and recruiting and training volunteers to run new locations initially in Elgin and Buckie.
